Mark Hannah is an award-winning cross-disciplinary Visual artist, designer and educator, teaching and producing solutions and products in the areas of art, transportation, furniture, consumer goods, entertainment, and business. After receiving his BS degree in Graphic Design from Oregon State University, Mark attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California earning his B.S. degree in 1998 in Industrial/Transportation design. Mark has developed products for world-class design companies such as Razorfish, Sapient Corp., Walt Disney, Columbia Pictures, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. Understanding the importance that art and design serves in developing the much-needed solutions for the future, Mark has taught art at the professional level at Art Center College of Design since 2012 and Gnomon School of Visual Effects since 1999. Mark continues to work with a very select group of clients through his design consultancy THIEFIT, developing projects that encourage sustainable solutions through art and design.  Mark received his Masters in Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design.

STATEMENT        

Visual artist and educator seeking representation or residencies to participate in creating art focusing on Institutional critique in systems of Power. Selected for the 2007 PMCA California Biennial for excellence in design in California.  Have participated  in various group exhibitions and solo shows from 2002 to 2021.
